Fox News Outnumbered co-host Tammy Bruce hammered Vivek Ramaswamy for his performance at last night’s GOP presidential debate, calling him a “frat boy auditioning for a television show.”

Ramaswamy turned heads on the debate stage when he attacked Nikki Haley for acting like Dick Cheney in “three-inch heels” and going after her daughter for having a TikTok account.

The hosts praised Haley’s response to Ramaswamy’s rhetoric by calling him “scum.” Haley and Ramaswamy have battled at multiple debate stages over foreign policy, including support for Ukraine and Israel.

Bruce noted that Haley’s response was the perfect mixture of stoicism and assertiveness that may impress Republican voters. Moreover, the Fox News co-host noted there is a double standard for women compared to men over how aggressive they can be on a debate stage as a candidate.

The fact is, women are expected to have a different kind of approach. We’re not used to being seen in power. We’re not used to being seen as aggressive. It’s why there’s fewer women and talk radio, because even the way we speak is usually a bit more nuanced as opposed to direct…I would expect that woman or any parent to be aggressive of. Leave my child out of this. I want that kind of connection emotionally and also intellectually about what’s appropriate and what is not within the framework of of discipline. That’s why these debates are so important, because you see a frat boy who’s perhaps auditioning for a television show, which he may get, versus a woman who’s a diplomat and a politician who can be the president of the United States. So brava.

Haley is currently polling in third nationally in the Republican primary while Ramaswamy trails her in fourth, according to Real Clear Politics.
