WASHINGTON — Gibbs Library welcomes back artist and instructor Karen Jelenfy to teach a free art class on abstract landscape painting Saturday, March 30, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the library’s Bryant Room, 40 Old Union Road.

Beginning and experienced artists are welcome. Participants from Jelenfy’s previous art class will learn new techniques and build on current skills, while instruction will be offered to the beginning artist as well. This class is free with all materials provided. Snacks will be offered, but participants are encouraged to bring a sack lunch. To register for the class, email Delphine at [email protected].
