New York Fashion Week is officially here. The annual industry event officially kicks off on Friday and runs through Sept. 11. A sneak peek of this season’s shows reveals elements of patriotic themes from designers such Ronald van Der Kemp, Willy Chavarria, Elena Velez, Monse, and Tommy Hilfiger, along with motifs of distant or imagined travels from Tory Burch, Alejandra Alonso Rojas, Josie Natori and Todd Snyder.
Exclusive runway shows typically serve the fashion industry insiders, but NYFW public events offer everyone a chance to join Fashion Week celebrations. Some brands have organized activations and pop-up events that are accessible to all, allowing attendees to experience the vibrant energy of NYFW firsthand. WWD’s rounded up free NYFW events for anyone looking to get into the sartorial celebrations.
Come back for more additions and confirm with the organizers’ official websites for the most updated details.
