Every fall, the Falmouth Art Center holds a fundraiser in which artists are challenged to create an artwork to donate to the art center. Over the years, artists have created works on palettes, boxes and masks, among other mediums. But among the most popular with artists was last year’s 8×8 challenge, creating a work of art measuring 8 inches by 8 inches in any medium.

This year, the art center is repeating the 8×8 challenge. There will be more than 60 original artworks for sale in the 8×8 show, each for $100, to benefit the Falmouth Art Center.
