Comprised of a group of volunteers — artists, gallery employees and other cultural workers — The Grief and Hope fundraiser on GoFundMe aims to raise $750,000 for art community wildfire relief. 

Artists Kathryn Andrews, Andrea Bowers, gallery directors Olivia Gauthier, Ariel Pittman and art professional Julia V. Hendrickson formed the fundraising coalition. 

The Brick (a nonprofit visual art space) has been designated as the sole GoFundMe fund recipient and disbursal, which means that all funds donated to the Grief and Hope effort are tax deductible.
