Gary Goldsmith Kate’s Uncle Discloses Early Wealth and Dislikes the ‘Common’ Title

Gary Goldsmith, Kate Middleton’s uncle, has expressed scorn for the term “common” when referring to his niece, the Duchess of Cambridge.

In a recent Celebrity Big Brother episode, the businessman spoke with TV presenter Fern Britton about his familial background.

During their talk, Gary revealed that he and his sister Carole, Kate’s mother, had become multi-millionaires by the age of 30.

Despite their poor beginnings, he verified their financial success, citing a variety of income streams.

He voiced dissatisfaction with the portrayal of his niece as a “commoner,” underlining his family’s distinctiveness.

Fern Britton mentioned the financial difficulties that many affluent people endure, to which Gary said that there are wealthy people who live lavishly yet have limited resources.

Carole launched Party Pieces in 1987, a mail-order business that sells party materials and decorations.

Her husband, Michael, quit his job at British Airways two years later to assist her venture.

However, Party Pieces encountered financial difficulties and was eventually sold in 2023 after entering administration.
