Gator volleyball team visits UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital on Thanksgiving

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – The Florida Gator volleyball team visited patients at UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital Thanksgiving morning.

Head coach Mary Wise and the team stopped by pediatric units to give small blue volleyballs and t-shirts to children.

The team also spent time talking with Dr. Rashmin Savani, the chair of the department of pediatrics at UF’s College of Medicine.

Team members say it has been a Thanksgiving tradition of the team for the past three decades.
