CLEMSON – The light at the end of the tunnel for Clemson basketball’s offseason is arriving, and the Tigers officially have one of their biggest pieces in full-force. Forward Jack Clark was dealing with some lingering issues after surgery, but The Clemson Insider has confirmed that he’s 100% cleared for all basketball activities.

Brad Brownell landed a few transfers with high expectations for the 2023-24 season. A couple came from the ACC, including Clark. During his senior season with the Wolfpack after transferring from La Salle, the 6-foot-10 forward averaged 9 points, 6.9 rebounds and 1.7 steals as a key contributor.

Since arriving at Clemson, he’s dealt with injuries and it’s something that Brownell has keyed on. He’s said that the Tigers have taken “a step forward and a step back” at ACC Tipoff but the latest step is a big one in the right direction.

Clark is one of the crucial parts of a front court that features PJ Hall, and it’s a large team that will have advantage on the interior. While Clemson hasn’t been able to fully prepare with this group, having Clark in full force is imperative for Brownell as the Tigers await their season opener against Winthrop Nov. 6.
