
The Gotham Film & Media Institute announced the winners of the second annual Gotham Television Awards 2025 at a ceremony held at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City. Netflix’s Adolescence won Breakthrough Limited Series. The show, which follows the aftermath of a school murder committed by a 13-year-old boy, also picked up two acting awards. Stephen Graham won Outstanding Lead Performance in a Limited Series, and Owen Cooper won Outstanding Supporting Performance in a Limited Series. Jenny Slate received the same supporting performance award for her role in Dying for Sex.
The Studio, a workplace comedy about a team of studio executives navigating Hollywood, won Breakthrough Comedy Series. Julio Torres won Outstanding Lead Performance in a Comedy Series for Fantasmas, and Poorna Jagannathan won Outstanding Supporting Performance in a Comedy Series for Deli Boys.
