Graceland Is Now Under Riley Keough’s Ownership After Lisa Marie Presley’s Death

After a long legal battle with her grandmother, Priscilla Presley, Riley Keough is now the single trustee of her late mother’s estate, Lisa Marie Presley.

According to a story by Entertainment Tonight, a judge approved the settlement Keough made with Priscilla and Lisa Marie’s ex-husband Michael Lockwood, who is the Guardian Ad Litem for her younger twin half-sisters. Keough had filed a petition for the settlement in June.

According to the deal, Elvis Presley’s ex-wife will get a one-time payment from the Trust for an amount that is not known. She will also be a Special Advisor to the Trust. Keough hasn’t said how much she will get paid each month for this job.

Priscilla is also a director for her son Navarone Garibaldi’s sub-trust. Navarone has been given 19 of the Trust.

The other 8/9 of the Trust will be split between Lisa Marie’s children, Riley, Harper, and Finley Lockwood, who are twins.

The War Pony director will also let Priscilla be buried at Graceland’s Meditation Garden “to the extent of her authority” when she dies. The document says that Priscilla will be buried “will be at the location closest to Elvis Presley without moving any existing gravesite.”

Riley Keough and Priscilla Presley are in a legal battle.

Lisa Marie died in January, just two days after she was seen in public at the Golden Globes. At first, the late musician’s death was said to have been caused by a cardiac arrest. However, it turned out that problems from a small bowel obstruction caused by a previous bariatric surgery were to blame.

Two weeks after Lisa Marie died, her mother, Priscilla, filed a petition against a 2016 change to her daughter’s will. This change put the Daisy Jones & the Six actor, age 34, and her brother, who died by suicide in 2020, in charge of the Graceland estate. She said the will got rid of her and Barry Siegel as guardians, which was wrong.

There were rumors of a fight between the two, but when the case was settled in May, Priscilla said in a statement that she never brought the case against her “beloved” granddaughter and that she was “pleased” to have gotten it over with.

Ronson J. Shamoun, who represented Priscilla at the time, told ET, “All parties have reached a settlement and the families are happy. They are very excited for the future.”

Justin Gold, Keough’s lawyer, agreed and told ET, “Riley is very happy. She’s a remarkable woman, and her future is bright.”
