Grain Valley Police ask for video while investigating car break-ins


GRAIN VALLEY, Mo. (KCTV) – Thieves target neighborhoods in Grain Valley overnight leaving people to deal with the fallout.

Grain Valley police said officers are investigating after the thieves took things from vehicles parked in the Woodbury and Duncan neighborhoods. All of the crimes took place between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m. Friday morning.

Detectives are asking people who live in the area to check surveillance systems and doorbell cameras for video of the crimes happening. The department asks any video be emailed to [email protected].

Anyone who can’t email the video is asked to call the department at 816-847-6250.

Officers are also asking people to lock car doors and remove any valuable items from your vehicles at night.
