Bill and Sheri Krizman look forward to a new perspective this winter. Instead of a typical Indiana winter – gray skies, daytime temperatures hovering just above freezing and 6 to 8 inches of snow – the panoramic views and sunkissed shimmer of the Gulf of Mexico and Estero Bay await from their fifth-floor Grandview at Bay Beach residence as a pleasant reminder of the couple’s new seasonal lifestyle.
It’s the best kind of winter survival plan, a well-deserved retreat commemorating the Krizmans’ first winter among the newly retired. They can’t wait to soak up the Southwest Florida sunshine, spend days at the nearby beach, relax in Grandview’s heated spa and meet their neighbors while enjoying the 11-story tower’s exclusive private amenities.
Completed this summer by London Bay Development Group, Grandview is the first residential tower built on Estero Island in 15 years. Introducing an elevated condominium lifestyle to the island, the building’s 58 spacious luxury residences celebrate Florida’s outdoor lifestyle with screened and open-air terraces while offering three and four bedrooms, up to three-and-a-half baths, dens, and 2,400 to over 2,900 square feet.

Sliding glass doors at “The EL” encourage gatherings to flow outside, where numerous open-air and covered seating areas await within a tapestry of colorful tropical landscaping.
The Krizmans always envisioned a single-family home with a garage for Florida vacations, seeking new construction as close to the beach as possible. Grandview met most of the criteria; as a condo it ventured into conveniences the couple hadn’t considered – on-site amenities and maintenance-free living. As they combed Florida’s Southeast and Southwest coasts, eventually expanding their search to condos, they discovered Grandview’s quality, with superior residence designs and finishes, and pricing starting from the $1 millions was unrivaled.
“We didn’t see any other condos with floor plans like these,” Bill said of their three-bedroom, three-bath residence. “I particularly like the semi-private elevator. Grandview has everything we could ask for.”

Representing Grandview’s largest floor plan with 22,923923 square feet, the Residence 301 model, a desirable corner unit, features a seaside palette reminiscent of nearby beaches and a versatile layout where the great room effortlessly flows into the dining room and the gourmet kitchen.
“We absolutely love Grandview,” added Sheri. “We can lock the door and return to Indiana without any worries or concerns. It was the best decision for us.”
The Krizmans were the first homebuyers to close in Grandview. The closing commemorated the couple’s maiden voyage to Estero Island, a new hometown they’ll spend the winter getting to know.
“I’m looking forward to relaxing and walking outside, going to the pool and beach,” said Sheri. “The outdoor area is fantastic, and I plan to take advantage of the outdoors instead of being cooped up in the winter.”
The EL, Grandview’s private amenities center, enhances residents’ lifestyle, providing unique indoor and alfresco spaces for gathering in large groups or with an intimate circle of friends by the glow of a fire and toasting sunsets over Estero Bay. It’s a social and wellness hub where residents can fire up the grill at the outdoor kitchen, watch the big game or ante into a small game in the club room and living room. It’s the perfect place for community and camaraderie, shared moments and relaxation.
There’s also a state-of-the-art fitness center with weight training and cardio equipment and a separate yoga studio with a mirrored wall, a barre and cushioned flooring.
Residents can host guests in two designer furnished suites that offer privacy for visitors and access to the building’s lounge areas and amenities.
Grandview is the last tower in Waterside at Bay Beach, a private community offering beach access, a resort-style pool and the planned Bay Beach Commons with pickleball, tennis and bocce courts.
Three designer-furnished model residences by Romanza Interior Design and Clive Daniel Home are available for viewing by appointment.
