The Vincennes University Generations organization has received a $5,000 grant from the Duke Energy Foundation.

The funding will support Generations’ nutrition program, which delivers meals to homebound seniors and individuals with disabilities.

The program helps these individuals maintain their health and remain in their homes.

Generations reports a growing demand for its services as it serves more meal clients than ever before.

The donation is a welcome gift as Generations has reported experiencing funding challenges over the past year.
