In recent years, Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful has taken an active role in promoting food waste reduction in selected county schools.

Five years ago, a number of schools in Gwinnett County were chosen to take part in Clean & Beautiful’s Food Waste Warriors Initiative, which began as a result of a Community Improvement grant funded by Keep America Beautiful and Lowe’s.
