Two creators of popular graphic novels for kids will be guests for a meet-and-greet event at a local bookstore.

Bookie’s New and Used Books, 10324 S. Western Ave., is set to welcome local authors Dave Scheidt and Mike Petrik on Saturday, Dec. 16, from 2 to 4 p.m., to discuss their work.
