Greta Gerwig and Noah Baumbach are capping off the year on a high note, both professionally and personally.
The couple discreetly married, according to a Page Six source, and the Barbie director gleefully announced the news on Tuesday while attending Billy Joel’s Madison Square Garden concert.
Gerwig, who was dressed elegantly in a white suit skirt and jacket, was apparently informing people that she had recently married at City Hall.
“They were both glowing and celebrating. They are so happy,” the insider stated.
According to the insider, Gerwig looked “so gorgeous” and “like a bride,” while Baumbach “looked handsome in his suit.”
The ‘newlywed’ couple looked to be bragging about their ‘wedding’ to onlookers just moments before walking to the event.
The No Strings Attached Attached actress Greta Gerwig and White Noise director Noah Baumbach first met after Baumbach saw one of Gerwig’s films and chose to cast her in his forthcoming movie.
They began a love relationship in 2011, as well as a continuous work relationship. In 2020, they got engaged.
Gerwig, 40, and Baumbach, 53, have a four-year-old son named Harold, who was born in March 2019, and are expecting their second child in March 2023.
Meanwhile, Baumbach has a 13-year-old kid with his ex-wife, Jennifer Jason Leigh.
