Greta Gerwig Spills the Beans About Timothée Chalamet’s Visit to the ‘Barbie’ Set and His Regretful Comment

The well-known director of the upcoming live-action Barbie movie, Greta Gerwig, has told a shocking story about Timothée Chalamet.

Greta Gerwig told Hollywood First Look in an interview that Timothée Chalamet, who stopped by the set while the movie was being made, said in a comment that he wanted to be in the movie.

Chalamet said that he should have been in the Barbie movie, and Gerwig said, “Timothée did come by the set during production and then said, I should have been in the Barbie movie, And I was like, I know! Why aren’t you in this?”

The conversation showed Chalamet’s sense of fun and how much he seemed to want to be a part of the project.

This news comes right after an interview that Gerwig did with CinemaBlend on July 10.

During that conversation, she talked about how she was trying to get Chalamet and Saoirse Ronan to have small roles in the movie.

Both stars couldn’t come because their schedules didn’t work out.

Timothée Chalamet wanted to be in Greta Gerwig’s Barbie, but there wasn’t enough time for that to happen.

Chalamet couldn’t be in the movie because it was being made at the same time that he had to film Dune: Part Two and Willy Wonka, both of which were set to come out at the end of 2023.
