Grimes was having a C-section when Musk, who is now her ex-boyfriend, took pictures of the private and vulnerable moment and sent them to family and friends, as Musk’s future biography will show.

In Musk’s self-titled biography, which comes out today, author Walter Isaacson talks about Musk’s relationship with on-and-off ex-girlfriend Grimes and their three children, the presence of the third of whom was just recently made public.

Isaacson talked to the 35-year-old Canadian musician about the ‘upsetting’ event.

“He was just clueless about why I’d be so upset,” the Genesis artist told Isaacson.

Grimes told the author that Musk took a picture of her on the operating table while she was giving birth to their first child, X A-Xii, in 2020. He did this without thinking and sent it to family and friends.

The biography also said that Grimes and Musk had a third kid, Techno Mechanicus, who they called Tau. This was a secret. Tau’s age and other information have been kept secret because Tau’s mother, who has three children, wants to “keep [her] babies out of the public eye.”

Musk, who is 52 years old, and Grimes have been on and off since 2018. Besides Tau, they have two other children together: X A-Xi, who is 3 years old, and Exa Dark Siderael, who is 1 years old.

When they were still dating, both of them said they wanted more children.

“We’ve always wanted at least three or four,” the singer for Oblivion told Vanity Fair in 2022.

Even though they have stayed friends, their relationship hit a small snag a few days ago when Grimes said that the tech mogul was keeping their kids from her and not answering her calls.

She pleaded with Isaacson on Twitter, “Tell Shivon to unblock me and tell Elon to let me see my son or plz respond to my lawyer.”

Grimes, whose real name is Clair Elise Boucher, quickly deleted the tweet and tried to ‘de-escalate’ the situation afterward.
