GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Police say a man died Friday after being hit by a car in Grand Rapids.

A man was hit by a vehicle near Kalamazoo Avenue at Oldtown Road SE, according to the Grand Rapids Police Department.

The man was taken by ambulance to the hospital, where he died, GRPD said. No information about the man was released Friday.

Police are investigating.
