A 19-year-old Buford man is accused of allegedly strangling and then stabbing his roommate at their north Gwinnett home early Wednesday.

Erik Ruiz Lopez is facing aggravated assault and felony and malice murder charges in the death of another man, according Gwinnett County Police Cpl. Ryan Winderweedle.
