Fans cannot stop gushing over Halle Bailey’s video of a young The Little Mermaid fan embracing her at Disney World.
Bailey, 22 years old, posted several clips from her trip to Walt Disney World in Florida on her Instagram Story on Thursday.
The actress from Grown-ish shared a video of herself hugging a young fan who recognized her from her upcoming role as Ariel in Disney’s live-action remake of “The Little Mermaid.”
During the touching moment, Bailey held the young girl in her arms and told her, “You are so lovely and kind.”
“Met this beautiful baby, Mila Rose, who made me cry,” Bailey captioned a photo of her trip to the amusement park. “She just gave me a very tight hug.”
As they hugged, Bailey said to the girl in the video, “You are so beautiful.” Someone off-screen said, “Ariel is her favorite.”
“Really? You are so lovely and kind; what is her name? Mila?” Bailey said in the video. “So sweet. Do you wish to smile for the camera, Mila? Take a photograph?”
Bailey’s touching exchange with a young fan comes just days after she spoke out about the racist comments she received after it was revealed in August 2019 that she would be playing Ariel.
On May 26, The Little Mermaid will be released in theaters.
