Hari Nef’s ‘Bad Things’ Has a 100’ Rotten Tomatoes Score

Hari Nef’s new movie, Bad Things, just came out at the Tribeca Film Festival, and Rotten Tomatoes gave it a perfect score of 100%.

The movie is directed by Stewart Thorndike, and the main character, Ruthie, is played by GLOW’s Gayle Rankin. Ruthie gets a 1980s motel from her grandma. With this fortune comes a tense relationship between Ruthie and her mother, which she hopes to fix. She chooses to take one last trip to the motel with her partner Cal (played by Nef) and their friends Maddie (Rad Pereira) and Fran (Annabelle Dexter-Jones), putting their lives at risk.

Critics have said that Thorndike’s movie is an interesting addition to the queer horror genre. They have pointed out that it focuses on unlikable female characters who get to shine and do bad things.

Even though the score on Rotten Tomatoes might change as more reviews come in, Bad Things is already making people excited for its August release on the streaming service Shudder.

Gayle Rankin will also be in the second season of HBO’s fantasy drama House of the Dragon. She is known for her part as Sheila in the popular show GLOW. But the show can’t be made right now because the writers are on strike.

On August 25, Bad Things will start to stream on Shudder.
