Harry and Meghan Will Skip King Charles II of Scotland’s Coronation

On July 5, King Charles will be publicly crowned as the leader of Scotland. On May 6, he was crowned as the monarch of Britain.

CNN says that Scotland will have its own celebrations on Wednesday to mark the fact that Charles will become king.

The newspaper said that Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, will join King Charles and Queen Camilla.

In a statement, the First Minister of Scotland said, “Scotland will welcome the new King and Queen in July with a series of events to mark the Coronation. A People’s Procession, a Royal Procession, a National Service of Thanksgiving, and a Gun Salute will take place in Edinburgh.”

The Daily Mail says that the king’s younger son Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, will not go to Scotland for King Charles’ crowning.

On May 6, Harry went to King Charles’s official coronation without his wife, Meghan Markle, or their children, Archie and Lilibet.
