The Hanalei River Heritage Foundation in Kaua‘i received $150,000. The Hawaiʻi Keiki Museum on the Big Island was granted $179,000. Kāhuli Leo Leʻa in Oʻahu received $75,000, and the Lāna’i Academy of Performing Arts on Lānaʻi was awarded $20,000, as reported by the Hawaii State Foundation on Culture and the Arts.
The State Foundation on Culture and the Arts manages Grant-in-Aid funds that support arts and culture nonprofits in Hawaii. Applications for these grants are usually available in late December or early January and must be submitted by mid-January.
