Hayley Williams Performs ‘My Hero’ with Foo Fighters at Bonnaroo Festival

Monday night at the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, Paramore singer Hayley Williams joined the Foo Fighters for a thrilling show as the band closed the festival.

The singer of “Misery Business” jumped on stage in the middle of Foo Fighters’ set and joined them for “My Hero,” a 1998 song that Williams has already covered. Williams sang the song at the Grammys as well.

Williams came out on stage in white overalls and a blue silk jacket. Her energy was electric.

Before Foo Fighters came out, Hayley Williams’ band Paramore also played on that stage. They played songs like “That’s What You Get,” “Ain’t It Fun,” and “Misery Business,” as well as a version of “This Is Why” to end their set.

The Foo Fighters are busy getting ready for the release of their 11th studio record, “But Here We Are.” Touring drummer Josh Freese is working with Dave Grohl and the rest of the band. The band will return on the festival tour and play in Canada and Milwaukee before going to Fuji Rock in Japan.

The Bonnaroo Music and Arts event is a four-day music event that takes place every year in the United States. The end of the event was June 18.
