Feel the magic of the holidays as the 72-member Haywood Choral Society performs its annual holiday concert at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3, at First United Methodist Church of Waynesville.

Enjoy arrangements of Christmas favorites like “Deck the Hall” and “I Saw Three Ships,” exquisite choral art in Herbert Howells’s “Gloucester Magnificat” and Franz Biebl’s “Ave Maria,” lovely and atmospheric pieces such as “Glow” by Eric Whitacre and “Ecce novum” by Ola Gjeilo, some fun holiday cheer in “Jingle Bells,” “The Twelve Days of Christmas” — and a few surprises.
