Step inside to mountains and waterways, flora and fauna, even with a background soundtrack of birdsong and babbling brooks. Studio Place Arts this winter invites viewers to “Head for the Hills.”

“Head for the Hills” in SPA’s Main Floor Gallery is inspired by our region’s dynamic landscape and its creatures, real and imagined. The exhibition features artworks in diverse media by 29 Vermont artists — paintings of landscapes and forest depths and a bagel toting crow, ceramic and textile sculpture of familiar and fanciful creatures, graphite drawings, collage of natural materials and much more.
