Kim Eagle with Earn That Body joined Studio 512 with better-for-you food swaps that will keep you snacking happy during American Heart Month!
Kim’s Tips:
- If a recipe calls for soy sauce, put 1/2 soy sauce and 1/2 water in instead. That will decrease your sodium content!
- Swap sour cream for nonfat Greek yogurt
- Choose hummus and veggies for a filling snack, instead of chips and salsa/guacamole.
- Late-night craving? Swap those cookies at night for a fruit (for example, an apple with peanut butter) or yogurt parfait
“In total, you want to increase veggies, fruits, whole grains, lean meats and fish. Decrease your sodium, your alcohol intake and the number of processed foods you consume.
“I have an all-new workout program that has just launched on February 19th, called the LEAN WORKOUT PROGRAM. It’s for women in a new stage life, when we start to feel those hormones shifting and our body is no longer responding to the workouts we once did…or we simply don’t feel like we are getting any change from the workouts we’re doing!”
