Senior Chloe Heller has been nothing but perfect for No. 7 Ramapo this season as its No. 3 singles player. Heller’s play on the court once again paid huge dividends for Ramapo during the NJSIAA Group III final, helping the Raiders edge out No. 5 Millburn, 3-2, to win its first state championship since 1995 at Mercer County Park in West Windsor.
Heller won a third-set tiebreaker (10-7) against Millburn’s Angelina Wang to propel Ramapo (16-1) to its ninth state championship in program history.
