Helmholz gallery hosts ‘Artists in the Gallery’ on Saturday


MANCHESTER — Helmholz Fine Art is hosting “Artists in the Gallery,” a live exhibition celebrating Vermont’s artistic talent, on Saturday from 4 to 6 p.m. Join the artists for champagne, cocktails, mocktails, Vermont artisan cheeses and an evening of artistic expression.

The exhibition will feature the art of Elizabeth Torak, a grand master in the rare 17th-century medium, The Maroger, known for her recently sold masterpiece “The Feast of Venus.” Thomas Torak, recognized for his pivotal role at the Art Students League in New York City and his expertise in The Maroger medium, will also be present.

Cynthia Rosen, with her nationally acclaimed palette knife paintings, will demonstrate her art live, which captures the essence of the American landscape, earning her top accolades across the country.

Techspressionist Colin Goldberg, recently credited in Wikipedia for founding the Techspressionism movement, will showcase his innovative work that merges technology with expressionistic art.

Stefania Urist, known for her impactful installations and sculptures, including the recent “Bonded Memories” and “Mapping the Impact,” will present her latest creations, drawing from her experiences and exhibitions across the country.

Elizabeth Nagle, with a significant following for her abstract contemporary work, will also be painting live, offering insights into her artistic journey and the motivations behind her work.

Helmholz Fine Art was recently recognized as one of the Top 20 galleries in the U.S. by The American Art Awards. “Artists in the Gallery” is one of only a few live exhibitions held at the gallery each year.
