Dances, events and opera singing. The second floor of Easthampton’s former city hall was once alive with cultural entertainment but now sits frigid and empty. Recently proposed renovations could change that.
CitySpace, a nonprofit organization that manages the old city hall at 43 Main St. in Easthampton has been working on renovating the 155-year-old building to provide affordable and accessible art in Western Massachusetts since 2006, after municipal offices relocated to Payson Avenue.
