Here’s when the National Christmas Center opens for the 2023 season

A popular Lancaster County holiday attraction will soon open for the season.

The National Christmas Center, located at the Stone Gables Estate in Elizabethtown, will open Friday, Nov. 24.

The center features 18,000 feet of nostalgic Christmas decorations, trees and toy collections. Guests can take in 1,250 nativity scenes from around the world, as well as 17-foot-tall replicas of Columbia, Pennsylvania, buildings decorated in 1950s holiday themes.

While there aren’t any new displays in this year’s season, the National Christmas Center added a small retail store with gifts available for purchase.

Tickets to the National Christmas Center range from $12-22. The National Christmas Center is open this year through Dec. 30. Tickets are available online.

Other Christmas activities at the Stone Gables Estate include a 3-mile long drive-thru Christmas light display featuring more than 1 million LED lights, the Santa Express narrated train excursion and a Christmas Village at the estate’s Ironstone Ranch area.
