
Kailyn Bell’s 24-point output Saturday helped the Ridley girls to a 53-48 overtime win over Harriton in the championship game of the Methacton Tip-Off Tournament.
Taylor Marsich accumulated 10 points for the Green Raiders (2-0).

Penncrest 54, Academy Park 49 >> Bailey Garrison and Emily Huggins scored 13 points apiece in the Lions’ overtime win at AP.
Emani Banks produced a game-high 18 points to go with 12 rebounds, seven blocks and three steals for the Knights. Alaysia Kinlaw (eight rebounds, nine assists, three steals) and Kiala Bright (five rebounds, two blocks) had 10 points each.
Upper Darby 47, Pottstown 25 >> Cameron Ross compiled 15 points, three assists and two steals as the Royals (2-0) scored a fast 15 points in the opening quarter en route to their second straight win at the Pottsgrove Tip-Off.
Sage Walters totaled 11 points, three rebounds and two steals for UD.
Upper Darby 49, Pottstown 30 >> Mia Wilson led the Royals with 14 points, and UD turned up the defense in the second half to prevail Friday night.
Interboro 34, Chichester 23 >> At the Lower Merion Tip-Off, Ashley Talbot led a balanced effort by the Bucs with 10 points. Tahkya Pray netted a team-high nine points for the Eagles.
Haverford 51, C.R. South 37 >> The Fords’ Rian Dotsey delivered down the stretch Friday, scoring 11 of her game-high 22 points in the fourth quarter.
Aniya Eberhart added 11 points, five rebounds, five assists and three steals for the Fords (1-0). Natalie Wright pitched in with six points and a team-high 11 rebounds.
Garnet Valley 41, Kennett 30 >> Kylie Mulholland scored 17 points, all in the first three quarters, and Haylie Adamski finished with nine for the Jaguars.
Shipley 44, Episcopal Academy 36 >> Kate Boerner paced the Churchwomen in defeat with 12 points.
Rustin 63, Penn Wood 50 >> Laila Johnson scored 12 points, and Mariah Wright added 10, but the Patriots couldn’t quite keep pace with the Golden Knights.

Chester got off to a winning start Friday night behind 12 points from Dante Atkinson in a 54-47 decision over Lincoln at the ninth annual Fred Pickett Classic.
The Clippers built a 33-19 lead and held on late. Vincent Coleman neared a double-double with eight points and 10 rebounds. Andre Brown hit a pair of 3-pointers to tally nine points, and Calvin Williams added seven.
Chester Charter SA 75, Coventry Christian 51 >> Brean Rudd Cook poured in 22 points and Jabryl Bennett piled up 16 points, 10 assists and five steals for the Sabers (2-0).
Episcopal Academy 64, Germantown Friends 47 >> Timmy Dennis produced 23 points, Matt McCarthy tallied 12 and Kevin McCarthy had 11 for the Churchmen.
J.P. McCaskey 56, Chichester 53 >> Warren Wideman scored a team-hight 17 points, but it wasn’t enough for the Eagles. Carlton Gordy tallied 15 points in the loss.
Avon Grove 61, Upper Darby 55 >> Gary Bonner scored 17 points, and TJ Jackson had 10, but the Royals fell at the Red Devils Tip-Off.
Radnor 70, Interboro 51 >> Henry Pierce scored 17 points, dished seven assists and pocketed five steals as the Raptors won their opener at Avon Grove.
Marina 56, Marple Newtown 54 >> Matt Gardler went off for 34 points in the opener, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with the visitors from California in the MN Coaches vs. Cancer Tip-Off.
Gardler hit seven 3-pointers. He accounted for 18 of the team’s 25 second-half points. Ryan Keating supplied eight points.
Conestoga 45, Penn Wood 43 >> Rowan Miller scored 15 points to lead the Pioneers at the Marple tourney. Donald Hairston led Penn Wood with 11 points. Chris Taylor added 10, and Kivaleon Clarke chipped in eight.
Dobbins 51, Haverford 36 >> Reese Fitzgibbons, Andrew Steigleman and George Doemling scored nine points apiece, but a two-point second quarter put the Fords behind the eight ball.
Holy Ghost Prep 68, Strath Haven 55 >> Despite missing four players still on football duty, the Panthers hung tough at the Holy Ghost Prep Tip-Off. Ryan Killeen led Haven with 15 points. The Panthers played Neshaminy in the consolation game.
