Visiting is the perfect escape where you can focus on good finger foods, desserts and of course a wide variety of teas and you can top off your visit with a bit of shopping. 

Each month they offer afternoon tea. When we visited, owner Erik Tice prepared an amazing autumn tea with an accompanying menu.  Along with the tea, Erik always serves a traditional and an herbal pot. Some of the items in this tea included a maple scone with clotted cream and apple butter pumpkin soup, creamy cucumber pear and apple chutney canapes, peach cobbler and caramel apple cookies to name a few!

The Hydrangea Cottage also offers a gift shop with many items from tea and food to home décor, seasonal items, and more! 

This specialty tea and gift shop is located in one of the historic homes within Garfield Square in downtown Pottsville.
