Holly Willoughby Has Left ITV in ‘Trouble’ Following Her Stunning Withdrawal from ‘This Morning’

Holly Willoughby is suffering from cold feet, leaving ITV executives perplexed as their show hangs in the balance.

The former This Morning host was poised to make a comeback on the show Dancing on Ice just two months after her surprise departure from the morning show after a 14-year run.

The Sun reports that reality show bosses are “concerned” because the show is due to return in January.

“In many ways the producers of Dancing on Ice are in limbo until they can resolve the issue of who’ll be steering the ship when the show returns,” a person familiar with the situation told the newspaper.

“Although it usually doesn’t start until mid-January, bosses still now find themselves working on a timescale measured in weeks, not months.”

According to the insider, it’s a “very precarious position” to be in when “all the crew and a group of celebrities are already working towards the first show, but nobody nailed on to present it.”

Insiders have informed The Mirror that, despite her departure from her morning show, Willoughby intends to continue on the skate show.

According to a friend, Willoughby enjoyed the ITV skating program because it provided a break from serious work and let her wear elegant outfits while amusing the audience.
