House Of Dereon Is Beyoncé’s First And Now-Forgotten Apparel Line

Beyonce has become a musical and fashion powerhouse, but many people may not know that her first fashion line, called House of Dereon, was a huge failure.

The athleisure brand was started by Beyoncé and her mother, Tina Knowles, in 2006.

Before Ivy Park came along and knocked it out of the park, House of Dereon had its own problems.

How did House of Dereon work?

When the fashion name first came out, the idea behind it was to honor three generations of women.

“Couture.Kick.Soul” was the slogan, and each word stood for the singer’s mother, Tina Knowles, herself, and Beyoncé’s grandma, Agnez Dereon.

When Beyoncé was in Destiny’s Child, her mother, Tina, made the group’s outfits, especially in the beginning when they didn’t have enough money or access to trendy clothes.

Destiny’s Child was known for both their obvious skill and their unique sense of style.

Even though each person brought something different to the group, they all wore clothes or items with the same style, color, or pattern.

What went wrong with the House of Dereon?

Even though Beyoncé’s brand had a lot of emotional value, it didn’t have a clear ideal customer.

The company was based on what she liked, which was a mix of her grandmother’s fashion from the 1940s and styles from the 1970s.

Second, her audience wasn’t used to the quick switch from music to fashion, and while she was well-known for her singing, her fashion sense wasn’t something that most people liked.

Because she didn’t build up the credibility and authority of her fashion business, it was doomed from the start.

But that didn’t stop the singer of “Lemonade.” She went on to work with Adidas, Balmain, and more with great results.

At the moment, the singer’s fans are going crazy over the fact that her Renaissance World Tour merchandise is being sold to them first.
