Soft luxurious fabrics

The foundation of an opulent home decor is the choice of fabrics. “Opt for soft rich fabrics, such as fine cotton, linen and its blends, to add a touch of indulgence to your space. These fabrics not only exude luxury but also offer a tactile experience that elevates the overall ambience,” she says, adding: “Subdued tones, such as soft greys, muted blues and gentle beiges, create a calming atmosphere that forms the basis of a quietly luxurious aesthetic. These colours provide a sophisticated backdrop for the textiles to shine.”

Fabric with a soft and plush feel will add comfort to your calming space. “Consider using it as upholstery on furniture pieces like sofas or chairs. This not only enhances comfort but also brings an organic minimal aesthetic to the room,” says Joshi.
