ONE outside-the-box thinking home decor guru on a budget found a creative way to add some style – and storage – to her space.
Her unusual pairing might have been different but it was also decorative.
“I think this Walmart home decor hack is going to shock you,” said Emma Villaneda (@thecraftedstudioco).
Her search for high-end-looking items did not even start – or end – in the home section.
“I grabbed one of these giant outdoor planters and a pizza pan from the kitchen aisle,” she said.
The two items might not have seemed to go together but she had a method to her decorating madness.

Once she got everything home, Emily was especially surprised at how lightweight the large planter was.
She also finally revealed just how the kitchen item was going to fit into the elevated decor equation.
“The pizza pan fits perfectly on top of these planters, making your own little DIY end table,” she said.
The table also had a surprising storage element as she was able to fold a blanket inside – and she wasn’t done cooking up ideas.

She even added her own decorative elements including vases to the top of the piece.
“I love the design of the planter, I think it makes it look very high-end and you can also store things inside,” she said.
In case the table didn’t quite appeal to your taste, she had yet another DIY trick up her sleeve.
Back at Walmart, she found a raised wicker planter with three legs – and a smaller pizza pan to fit on top.
This time she placed the table next to her couch but also loved the idea of it as a nightstand next to the bed.
And most importantly, it also had room for storage.
Her unconventional kitchen find was also affordable. Walmart’s Mainstays 16-inch non-stick pizza pan sells for $5.99.
Her fans were also loving the unconventional buys.
“Creative and cost-efficient idea especially for young people trying to furnish their first homes!” said one follower.

“Love that!” she replied.
“So clever!” said another viewer.
