I was sick of wiping down my windows so bought a condensation-busting gadget


IT’S that time of the year again, the freezing temperatures are here and the condensation is building on the windows in our home. 

And the last thing you want to do is have the heating on, and the windows open – especially with the cost of living crisis.

Luckily, there are gadgets galore to help beat the condensation and dampness in your home without it having to affect your electricity bills much. 

One home influencer Nazia, who goes by the name of Nazia X Home on TikTok, has discovered just the gadget which will save you from having to wipe the windows down daily. 

The Home influencer, who currently has over 97k followers, shared a video which demonstrated exactly how it works. 

It was captioned: “Condensation. Keeping condensation at bay so no daily window cleaning is required!”

The video shows her placing the device, which has a pot at the bottom to collect the water in the air, by the window. 

The next day, she shows the camera just how much water the device collected, and how the windows were left without any condensation.

The device can be bought from her TikTok shop, or the Conopu Dehumidifier model and can be bought from Amazon for £45. 

The video has attracted over 21k likes, with many rushing to the comments section to share their thoughts.

Some were big fans of the gadget and wanted to get one immediately.

One wrote: “Omg I need this from where you get it

However, others were more convinced that opening the window would be a better solution. 

One wrote: “You just open your windows a crack for 20/30 mins the condensation also disappears and that’s free.”

Another added: “Wipe down clean with cloth and open the windows for 30 mins.”
