BROWNSVILLE, Texas – IDEA Brownsville College Preparatory’s students will showcase their creative artworks during the ‘Chromatic Confluence’ IB Visual Arts Exhibition on Monday, February 26 through Wednesday, February 28 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Historic Alonso Building (510 E. Saint Charles St., Brownsville, TX 78520). This event is free and open to the community.
The exhibition will showcase artwork that delves into introspection, presenting profound and personal concepts through various forms of art. Each piece made by students aims to evoke emotion and spark dialogue, inviting viewers to explore the depths of creativity and self-expression.
“We are incredibly proud of our students and their exceptional artistic endeavors,” said Marco Lopez, Principal at IDEA Brownsville College Preparatory. “This exhibition is a testament of the students’ creativity, dedication, and passion for the arts, and we invite our community to join us in celebrating their achievements and supporting their future endeavors.”

In addition to celebrating artistic achievement, the exhibition serves a philanthropic purpose. Attendees will have the opportunity to acquire unique pieces of art during a silent auction. The proceeds from the silent auction will benefit the IDEA Brownsville College Preparatory students’ journey to college.
