Iggy Azalea Was Forced to Cancel Her Saudi Arabia Show Due to a Wardrobe Malfunction

A bad thing happened during Iggy Azalea’s last show in Saudi Arabia, so it had to end early.

On Friday, August 25, at Boulevard Riyadh City, the 33-year-old rapper put on a show for the e-sports and game event Gamers8.

Before her show, the Australian rapper said she was excited to be performing for the first time in a Middle Eastern country and that she was “thrilled to be headlining an all-women line-up.”

“Providing inspiration for women across the globe is hugely important to me, and something I am immensely proud to have done through my music,” Azalea said.

But the excitement didn’t last long. Halfway through the show, the officials shut it down and told the crowd to leave.

Saturday, the Black Widow rapper wrote on Twitter that she couldn’t finish her show because something went wrong with her clothes.

“Saudi Arabia please know to everyone at the show tonight… I LOVE YOU!!! And I’m soooooo sorry I wasn’t allowed to finish my show,” she wrote on X, which used to be Twitter, with a crying face emoji.

Azalea went on to say that it wasn’t the promoter’s fault and asked fans to be nice to them because they are “amazing people.”

She said, “We all wanted to continue but were not allowed by authorities because of my pants splitting.”

When a fan asked why she didn’t just change her pants, the singer said, “I did but I also said ‘Ladies make some noise, it’s a woman’s world!’ And apparently that sent the authorities over the edge. Lol.”

“I’m cool I just didn’t want the fans to be sad or angry at the show organizers cause it wasn’t their control or mine it was the police at the side of stage,” said the rapper.
