I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! launched its 2023 series on Sunday night with a slew of new stars tackling the Australian jungle.

During the opening episode, Josie Gibson and Nella Rose were joined by controversial former politician Nigel Farage in the scorching Australian Outback to complete a series of challenges. After pressing a call button, hosts Ant and Dec revealed: “Welcome to the Australian Outback. For now, it’s just the three of you. Your fellow celebrities are 2,000 miles away on the Gold Coast.”

They added: “The other celebrities will be trying to win stars for the first meal in camp. However, how much time they have to do that will be down to you three. You’ll now take on challenges to win tokens, the more tokens you win, the more time they’ll have.” During the scenes, viewers were left seriously distracted as they noticed that the theme song from hit series, Breaking Bad, was playing.

Taking to Twitter, now X, one person said: “As if #ImACeleb just casually dropped the Breaking Bad theme on a challenge”, a different account put: “Am I watching Breaking Bad or I’m A Celebrity? #ImACeleb”, another viewer said: “Why did they start playing the Breaking Bad theme #ImACeleb” while a different fan added: “Why they playing the Breaking Bad theme tune lol #ImACeleb.”
