‘I’m big busted and swimwear shopping is hard – I feel like a sausage’

Going clothes shopping can be a pain in the backside for most people.

Whether it be the dodgy fitting rooms lights or the ever-changing sizes, it can be a real task and could take a hit on your self-esteem. And for big busted Lara, she knows the reality of the above all too well.

But, she knows she’s not alone in her pursuit to find swimwear that fits comfortably with her boobs. So Lara, known as the ‘bigger busted bestie’, took it upon herself to take her TikTok followers along for the ride.

“Realistic swimwear shopping be like,” Lara captioned the post. She then explained: “I’ve decided I’m going to try and tackle one pieces.”

The Australian beauty headed on down to a local swimwear store to see what one-pieces were in stock and then went straight to the fitting room to try them on. Lara first rocked a blue and pink strapless swimming costume that featured a cut-out section on her tum.

Although she looked gorgeous in the garment that featured a ring detail on the side, she felt the bandeau top half didn’t do her boobs justice. Lara shared: “I have been reviewing bikinis for us bigger busted girls to tell you what’s cute and what’s not and I’ve decided I’m now going to tackle one pieces, which I actually think are harder to find than bikinis.

“Reason being, the style might fit your bottom like this one, but when it comes to the top it just does not work.

“This one is giving sausage casing.

“I literally felt like I was going to bust out.”

She then tried on a white halter neck costume that Lara said to be “flattering” for her bigger chest but noted she felt like she couldn’t “breathe” in it. Lara quipped the swimsuit was “squishing things that weren’t meant to be squished.”

The fashionista then slipped into an asymmetric tie-dye swimming costume which featured two cut-outs on the stomach area, she wasn’t a fan of the detail. She shook her head and as she pointed out the one strap didn’t offer much support.

“Can you imagine the nip slips,” Lara joked in the video.

Finally, she tried on a black swimsuit with a large cut-out section that flashes her underboob. Lara said the swimsuit would have been a “winner” if it had different straps.
