A highlight of the celebration was the engaging Book Sharing Sessions, where students and staff enthusiastically shared their literary treasures with fellow attendees. Among the standout selections was “Thinking, Fast and Slow” by Sanjay, which claimed the top spot in the Student Category, captivating audiences with its thought-provoking insights. In the Staff Category, “The Glass Castle,” presented by Tharanie Rajendran, garnered accolades for its poignant narrative and compelling storytelling.
In recognition of the indispensable role of libraries in fostering academic excellence, Imperium College bestowed the Library Engagement Award upon Zafirah, a diligent student, and Ms. Yee Li Lian, a dedicated lecturer. Their unwavering commitment to utilizing library resources exemplifies the college’s ethos of lifelong learning and intellectual curiosity.
Adding a touch of warmth and appreciation to the festivities, every attendee received a symbolic token—a delicate rose symbolizing the beauty of literature, along with a bookmark to accompany them on their literary journeys.
