
CONCORD, Va. (WSET) — The Concord Volunteer Fire Department said there was a car fire on Sunday.
Firefighters said they were dispatched for reports of a car fire with possible entrapment at the intersection of Stage Road and Paradise Hill Drive. They were able to quickly arrive on the scene and remove the driver from the car.
According to firefighters, all individuals were out of the vehicle, and the fire was spreading from the car into the woods.

Crews immediately went to work putting out the car fire. Crews from the tankers handled the brush fire, firefighters said.
According to firefighters, the driver sustained minor injuries and was checked by EMS on the scene. Units remained on the scene until the car could be towed before clearing.
