INFINITI Premieres the All-New 2025 QX80 at the Montreal Auto Show

INFINITI had a good year last year, with total sales reaching 6,300 units in 2024, a 1.5% increase from the previous year. The fourth quarter showed particularly strong performance, with a 14.73% rise compared to Q4 2023. Notably, the all-new QX80 model contributed significantly to this growth, with 246 units sold in Q4, representing a 7.42% increase year over year.

The all-new 2025 INFINITI QX80 represents the luxury brand’s big and bold step forward. In dealerships since last summer, this full-size SUV features a refined design inspired by Japanese artistry, blending elegance and modernity. The front fascia showcases a distinctive grille with intricate detailing, flanked by sleek LED headlamps, while the rear features striking taillights with a unique light signature.

Its spacious interior emphasizes comfort and craftsmanship, featuring premium materials such as available semi-aniline leather, open-pore wood trim, and laser-cut metal inlays. Customizable ambient lighting and heated, ventilated, and massaging seats further elevate the cabin experience. First introduced as the QX56 in 2004, the model has evolved over the years into a symbol of full-size luxury and capability, consistently setting benchmarks in its segment.

The V8 engine is gone, but few will miss it. The 2025 QX80 is powered by a 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 engine, delivering 450 horsepower and 515 lb-ft of torque. This efficient powertrain is paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission, enabling smoother acceleration and improved fuel efficiency. The SUV boasts an impressive towing capacity of up to 8,500 pounds, supported by an advanced suspension system designed for enhanced stability and ride comfort.

Key technological features include dual 14.3-inch displays with Google built-in, a cutting-edge 24-inch head-up display, and the Invisible Hood View camera system that improves low-speed visibility.
