Innovafeed launches Instagram platform for sustainable pet nutrition


Innovafeed, a provider of insect-based solutions for animal and plant nutrition, is launching its first B2C Instagram page, @HiluciaforPets, dedicated to pet owners, partner brands and stakeholders focused on sustainable pet food. The launch is scheduled for February 20 in celebration of “Love Your Pet Day” in the U.S.

Innovafeed has spent four years developing premium, Black Soldier Fly (BSF)-based ingredients tailored to the needs of dogs, cats, backyard poultry and wild birds in collaboration with industry experts and veterinarians. The new Instagram platform will share insights about BSF-based ingredients, feature partner brands committed to sustainable pet food, and showcase Innovafeed’s participation at major industry events. The page also introduces Lucia, a digital mascot representing the Hilucia line, designed to present the technology in a visually appealing way for pet owners.

Innovafeed’s initiative is intended to foster knowledge-sharing and promote a more sustainable future for pet nutrition.
