Few details are known of the Israeli military’s ground operations as it pushes deeper into Gaza, fighting Hamas. Reuters was in a small group of foreign journalists given a rare view of Israel’s invasion on the shattered fringes of Gaza City. Reuters footage shot during the 1-1/2-hour tour on Wednesday was reviewed by the Israeli army as a condition for having a journalist embedded. No material was removed. Matthew Larotonda reports.
