In the fashion industry, Jessel Taank is hardly up-and-coming.
The “RHONY” star was a front-row fixture long before getting cast on the Bravo hit — so naturally, she’s an expert in looking flawless during a booked-and-busy New York Fashion Week.
“NYFW is all about survival of the fittest,” the star told Page Six Style at Bloomingdale’s glamorous “From Italy With Love” event last week, where she rocked a full outfit from the iconic department store (as did several of her castmates).
“I went to Bloomingdale’s this morning to shop for my outfit and there was a black-and-white gown; I literally said, ‘Ubah [Hassan] needs to buy it or wear it,’” she said. “She showed up in it, so we’re telepathic I think.”
You needn’t be telepathic to steal styling secrets from Taank, however; below, she spills her top tips for staying stylish (and comfortable) on the go, from “the best” foundation to her favorite pain-free high heel hack.
“I have a fashion week shoe trick: You put CBD lotion on your feet before you wear your heel and it numbs them right up. You can walk all day and you’re fine. There’s a couple of brands out there, but there’s one that I use; it’s called Flexpower.”
“I get it at Bloomingdale’s, and it is the best foundation. It looks like skin and it gives you this glow. So good.”
“They’re adhesive bras. I’m wearing them right now. You can wear them with a gown that’s low cut or sheer, and it’s the best, best thing. You just stick them on — [a] boob saver!”
“My makeup artist has this setting spray. She’ll spray my face with [it], put the foundation on and spray it again so that everything goes on really nicely. I get my makeup done at 9 a.m. and at like 10 p.m., I’m still looking really fresh.”
“You’re always running like your life depends on it. I’m wearing Dolce & Gabbana right now and they are so comfortable. Bloomingdale’s shoe department [has] good stuff.”
“I’m known as the accessory girl. I love Alexis Bittar. These are Alexis and they go with everything — wear them with jeans [or] wear them with a gown.”
