On Monday, January 29, Sesame Street character Elmo tweeted to check in with his admirers on X, which was previously known as Twitter.

The post went viral, and admirers used the chance to express their concerns about their favourite puppet.

They took out the big guns, addressing a number of recurring issues.

Author Hanif Abdurraqib wrote, “Elmo each day the abyss we stare into grows a unique horror. one that was previously unfathomable in nature. our inevitable doom which once accelerated in years, or months, now accelerates in hours, even minutes. however I did have a good grapefruit earlier, thank you for asking.”

Another individual chimed in, requesting Elmo to check on Nicki Minaj regarding her rivalry with Megan Thee Stallion.

The post received a deluge of responses, both funny and sarcastic.
